Church

This is the 2nd week in a row tr hat I have gone to church here in Oroville. I am now looking for a new church family and have tried out one of the local churches here in town. It is a Methodist Church and although I don't know all the variations of the Christian faith, I feel this has to be kinda close. They preach straight from the bible and they sing hymns and songs I am familiar with it. A good start I guess. They have children's church for Michael but very few other children and I think he is the only boy there :) They have a bible study group on Thursday nights I may have to go check out one of these days. They are also working on their camp for the summer, a family camp I may look into in the future. So lots of areas and ways to be involved in the future if we wanted to. I am not sure if I am going to just stay there and keep on going with this one, or maybe in a few weeks check out a few others too, just so I know my options. There are a lot of Churches here, shocked for how small the town is, but many are not even an option for me. Anyway, great being back at church, fellowhsipping with believers and being fed. I checked out a new Christian novel and a devotional too. It will be great to be surrounded by God more and get immersed in the right path again.
